“People place great hopes in us”: Lilit Garajyan on Strong Armenia’s program

Three hundred thousand new jobs will be created, mainly in the regions, addressing not only poverty and unemployment but also demographic challenges. This was stated by economist and “Strong Armenia” party member Lilit Garajyan in an interview with Alpha News, as she presented the economic program “Samvel Karapetyan’s Five Steps to a Strong Armenia.”

According to her, around 80,000 of the planned jobs will be created in the industrial sector, contributing to economic growth.

“People truly place great hopes in us now, given the path our leader has taken and the work he has done. Every region wants at least one of our economic initiatives to be implemented there. For example, one of our five key measures is the provision of 20,000 affordable housing units. Rent will be set in line with local rates in each region, and ultimately these apartments will become the property of their residents,” the economist emphasized.

Garajyan added that the economic programs are aimed at improving people’s lives and building a strong Armenia.
