“We need a person who can lead the country out of this situation”: a poll in Yerevan

During a street poll in Yerevan, one resident expressed hope that the upcoming elections would be won by either Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia, or Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the “Strong Armenia” alliance.

“Today, both security and other areas are under threat. We need a person who can lead the country out of this situation,” another respondent noted.

The overwhelming majority of respondents said that, in their view, Robert Kocharyan is once again capable of getting the country back on its feet today, just as he was many years ago.
