“This is just the beginning, even harsher demands will follow”: citizens on Russian restrictions

If the current government is going against Russia and orienting itself toward the West, then sanctions from Russia against Armenia are inevitable. A Yerevan resident said this during a survey conducted by Alpha News.

According to those surveyed, if the authorities are acting against a “thousand-year friendly state” that has always supported Armenians in difficult times and where a large number of compatriots work, it is only natural that Russia would impose restrictions.

“As the Russians say, this is just the beginning, even stricter demands lie ahead,” another survey participant noted.
