Gor Ayvazyan, a silver medalist of the World Championship

Athlete from Akhalkalaki Gor Ayvazyan earned a silver medal in the finals of the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championship U-20, losing to Abubakar Haslahanov. Earlier, the athlete from the Georgian national team defeated an Armenian, then a Moldovan wrestler. The Georgian national team returned home with gold, silver and bronze medals, taking a second place in the team competition.
