“We’ll bomb them to hell”: Trump threatens Oman over talks with Iran

The US will strike Oman if it “gets in the way,” said Donald Trump, President of the United States, responding to a question about talks between Muscat and Tehran on control of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trey Yingst, chief international correspondent for Fox News, said he spoke with the American president by phone and asked him about the Iran-Oman talks on the Strait of Hormuz.

“If Oman gets in the way, we’re going to bomb the hell out of them,” the journalist quoted Trump as saying.

At the same time, the American leader did not specify under what exact circumstances Washington is prepared to strike. Trump also said that Iran should “raise the white flag of surrender.” He noted, however, that he is not setting any deadlines and is “in no hurry.”
