Robert Kocharyan is alone in his cell, close relatives can visit him: Levon Kocharyan

Robert Kocharyan, Armenia’s second president, is alone in his cell. This was reported by his son, Levon Kocharyan, deputy chairman of the “Armenia” faction in the National Assembly.

“I visited him on August 31, on his birthday. My father underwent heart surgery about 20 days ago, after which he was supposed to be under observation for a month. The recovery process has been disrupted, so certain problems have arisen, but otherwise everything is normal,” he said, adding that Robert Kocharyan can be visited by close relatives, while his brother, Sedrak Kocharyan, can only be visited by his wife and children.
