Yerevan City Hall to get AI twin: Avinyan

Tigran Avinyan, Mayor of Yerevan, has announced plans to increase funding for artificial intelligence development in next year’s budget.

“We have decided to increase the budget for artificial intelligence next year, and we will create an AI twin of the municipality,” he said at a session of the Council of Elders.

According to him, the plan is to create AI-powered copies of all City Hall departments and administrative districts.

“We will have a kind of ‘twin agent’ for all our departments and administrative districts, an AI copy that will initially function as an advisory body,” the mayor said.
