Josep Borrell hopes for Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting in Brussels

Josep Borrell, the head of European diplomacy, has expressed his hope to organize negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani officials in Brussels.

“I hope that it will be possible to organize meetings in Brussels between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is necessary to ensure that the conflict does not expand. In addition, it is necessary to achieve political stabilization in Armenia,” he said.

Meanwhile, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev said that Azerbaijan is ready to hold trilateral meetings between EU, Azerbaijani and Armenian officials in Brussels in the near future.
