Adeliia Petrosian gets bronze of 2022 Russian championship after Kamila Valieva disqualified

Russian figure skater of Armenian descent Adeliia Petrosian became the bronze medalist of the 2022 Russian Championship due to the disqualification of Kamila Valieva.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Kamila Valieva for 4 years. She will be stripped of any awards she has earned since December 2021.

Adeliia Petrosian, 16, is the 2024 Russian national champion, the 2023 Russian Grand Prix Final champion, the 2021 JGP Slovenia champion and the 2021 Russian junior silver medalist. Her coach is Eteri Tutberidze.
