Khachanov beats Cerúndolo to reach last 16 of Monte-Carlo Masters

Russian tennis player of Armenian origin Karen Khachanov defeated Argentinian Francisco Cerúndolo 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 to reach the last 16 of the Monte-Carlo Masters.

The match lasted two hours and 18 minutes.

Khachanov, ranked No. 17, will face the winner of the match between French Gael Monfils and Russian Daniil Medvedev next.
