The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan accused Armenia of provocations

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan has already reported on the recent provocations committed by Armenia with the use of heavy weapons in the Kelbajar direction, Azerbaijani media reported.

“It should be noted that such provocations by Armenia are by no means the first case, they are permanent. The military exercises conducted by the United States in Armenia, France equipping Armenia with deadly weapons and the European Union providing military assistance to Armenia under the guise of the European Peace Foundation inspire the occupying Armenia to commit such provocations and indicate preparations for another war against Azerbaijan,” the message reads.

The Ministry of Defense warns Armenia and its patrons that they should refrain from the intention to create a new hotbed of war in the South Caucasus. If such provocative actions are not stopped, appropriate retaliatory measures will be taken in self-defense using all means available in the arsenal of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The entire responsibility for the aggravation of the situation in the region will fall on the military-political leadership of Armenia and its patrons, the statement emphasizes.
