Artsakh calls on the Diaspora and structures in Armenia to protest

Ashot Danielyan, the chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, commented on the decision to invalidate the state registration of the property rights to the building housing the Artsakh mission.
He stated that Armenia’s authorities, taking advantage of society’s distraction with the June 7 parliamentary elections, had taken “another shameful, unlawful, and immoral step” against Artsakh and its people. According to Danielyan, this is not merely a matter of real estate, but a symbol of Artsakh’s statehood, one that was subjected to aggression and forcible seizure, as well as a place where Artsakh residents could unite their efforts to defend their rights, affirmed by international law and the International Court of Justice ruling of November 2023.
“These anti-Armenian actions will not break our will to restore the rights of the people of Artsakh, ensure their return, and revive their statehood,” he stressed.
Danielyan called on organizations and compatriots in Armenia and the diaspora to respond to the authorities’ move by raising their voices in protest in defense of the “inalienable rights” of the people of Artsakh.
