If Israel takes this step, it will be its last step, Iranian expert on a possible clash between Iran and Israel
Iranian journalist Khayal Muazzin commented to Alpha News on Erdogan’s statement regarding the Zangezur corridor through Iran, as well as a possible clash between Iran and Israel.
According to the Iranian expert, Israel will under no circumstances take such a rash action as a clash with Iran.
“Israel understands perfectly well that if it had such strong power and army, it would have coped with the situation inside the country. Iran dreams that Israel will take this rash step, because it will be its last step. In this case, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, everyone around will immediately attack Israel and this will lead to the destruction of the Zionist regime. Despite Netanyahu’s statements on the attack, this is just a political game for his people. Therefore, I believe that Israel will not take such a rash step; it is not interested in attracting third countries to start a large-scale war,” the expert noted.
“However, if we assume that this happens, it will affect not only Armenia, but also neighboring countries, because a new war will attract other forces, US intelligence services and others. All this could lead to a big clash, with ISIS fighters appearing in the region. In this case, Russia, Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will suffer,” the Iranian expert said.
Regarding Erdogan’s statement that the Zangezur corridor can now pass through Iran and not Armenia, the expert said that this is possible.
“I believe that Erdogan received a positive signal from Iran regarding the Zangezur corridor. Iran was not against it and actually wanted this. Iran’s main demand was that everything would be under its control, and Iran received a positive response. I believe that Turkiye and Iran have agreed, and Iran will play a decisive role in the Zangezur corridor. It will control the corridor.
Everything that was now happening in the Caucasus was all because of the corridor, because a new world order is being created and Turkiye understands perfectly well that in the new world order it is losing its strength and will not play a major role in the issue of the corridor. Therefore, Erdogan will be forced to agree to Iran’s demands,” Muazzin concluded.
