‘The Reverse Side of the Medal’ to represent Armenia at International Sport Film Festival   

 
The 22nd International Sports Film Festival will be held in Moscow and Moscow Region on October 24-29, with Armenia being represented by the feature film “The Reverse Side of the Medal” about legendary Armenian weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan.

This is the first Armenian sports drama based on real events. The director, producer and screenwriter is Anna Maxim, who played the main role in the film. The jury headed by director Natalya Bondarchuk will determine the winners in 12 nominations, as well as the winner of the Grand Prix. 

The festival program will feature more than 50 documentary, fiction, and animated works by filmmakers from Armenia, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, and Croatia.
