Trump became president because of Democrats’ serious mistakes — Robert Margaryan
Trump became president as a result of serious mistakes made by the Democrats, political scientist Robert Margaryan told Alpha News.
“The difference was quite large not only in electoral votes but also in public votes. Internationally, there can be different views on Trump; he can be considered dangerous for the world, although Trump said that he came to stop wars, not to start them,” the political scientist said.
However, according to Margaryan, people lived economically better under Trump than during Biden’s presidency.
“The countries that consider Trump dangerous are not the ones that elect the US president. The US president is elected by the US people, for whom these issues may be secondary. The priority is the economic issues that played a major role in Trump’s election. I know many people voted for Trump considering the economic factor.
There is a clear and indisputable fact that under Trump, people lived in more favorable economic conditions than under the 4-year Biden period, starting with rising gasoline prices, inflation, and various kinds of problems.
This was the reason why the majority of voters chose Trump, without taking into account ideological issues,” Robert Margaryan noted.
He also noted that the people of the United States adhere to traditions, and, for example, abortion is one of the most serious problems for them.
“There are also social problems. In any case, the USA is not only California or Los Angeles. The USA is a huge territory, people with all kinds of approaches live there, and, by the way, there are traditionalists too, for whom, say, the rights of the LGBT community and abortion are serious problems,” Robert Margaryan concluded.
