Vasily Petrenko Academy for Conductors opened in Armenia 

Master classes, as well as a workshop, The Secrets of a Conductor Job Beyond Music, for young conductors, will be held in Armenia starting July 2.

Vasily Petrenko, Music Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, will be the mentor for the applicants. Not long ago, his contract was extended until 2030.

At the end of the educational program, the participants, together with Vasily Petrenko, will perform in a gala concert at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

Vasily Petrenko is a world-renowned Russian-British conductor, Artistic Director of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia ‘Evgeny Svetlanov’, former Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
