The Union of Armenians of Russia has expressed its unconditional support for the process of Armenia’s purification that has begun in the country and called on every Armenian, regardless of social status, party affiliation, or place of residence, to join the patriotic movement led by Bagrat Srbazan.

“May 9 is a special day for us, inscribed in golden letters in the history of the Armenian nation. It is the day of the Great Victory of the Soviet people over fascism, which gave the Homeland four Armenian Marshals of the Soviet Union and one Admiral of the Navy, 106 Heroes of the USSR. It is the day of the brave liberation of Shushi. This is the very same memory and pride for ourselves and our Homeland, won by the heroic fate and blood of our fathers and grandfathers, our brave soldiers—something they have been trying to take away from us since 2018, since Pashinyan’s team came to power.

There are no personal ambitions, likes, or dislikes that would justify anyone’s indifference and non-participation in the process of Armenia’s liberation today. It concerns everyone. A builder, a farmer, a student, or a waiter, and especially intellectuals and business elites. Your silence allowed the Pashinyan government to manipulate the public consciousness, introducing defeatist sentiments and intimidating people to accept humiliating agreements. But today the moment has come when your silence is tantamount to complicity in the betrayal of national and state interests. Your voice, which was not heard yesterday, must be clearly heard today. Tomorrow will be late,” the union’s statement reads.
