Armenian artisans participate in Surajkund International Crafts Mela in India

The 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela is being held in Faridabad, India, from February 7-23, bringing together the cultural heritage and artisans of different countries.

Armenia is represented at this prestigious event every year by the masters of the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts: needleworker Armenuhi Khachatryan, carpet master Marine Gharibyan and dollmaker Taguhi Asatryan.

Armenian textiles (carpets, embroidered and woven works) and souvenirs are also presented at the festival. Handmade master classes are held in parallel.
