Separate talks between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Affairs in Moscow are not scheduled, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexei Shevtsov told Interfax.

“If we are talking about formal trilateral meetings involving Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, then no, they are not planned. The event’s program is very packed, it does not imply additional narrow negotiation formats,” Shevtsov said when asked about the possibility of separate talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow.

“At the same time, both the Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations have been invited to participate not only in the plenary sessions and seminars but also in the traditional working session for the CIS countries,” he said.

The meeting of high representatives, chaired by Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu, will be held in Moscow from May 27 to 29. More than 125 delegations from over 100 countries across the Global South and East, along with CIS countries, CSTO, EAEU, SCO, and 14 international organizations, have confirmed their participation.
