Creative groups acting under the auspices of the Center for the Preservation of Artsakh Culture have received a remarkable opportunity to participate in the international folklore festival, which will be held in Italy from July 30 to August 16. The festival is organized by CIOFF—the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts—and is an official partner of UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture of Artsakh reports.
Participation in the festival is a significant achievement, confirming the value of the persistent and dedicated efforts made by the organization following the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh. It is also an important platform for presenting Artsakh culture with dignity and for raising international awareness about the cultural identity, historical continuity, and values of the people of Artsakh.
The Artsakh State Folk Instruments Ensemble and the Artsakh State Dance Ensemble will jointly perform a cultural program featuring traditional music and dance of Artsakh, conveying the inexhaustible spiritual heritage of the people to a diverse audience.
