Konane Arslanian to continue career with Armenian community club in Marseille

Konane Arslanian, a defender for Armenia’s U19 national football team, has signed a contract with UGA Ardziv, a club representing the Armenian community in Marseille that competes in France’s National 3, the fifth tier of French football.

Arslanian, 19, trained in the youth academies of Olympique de Marseille and Grenoble. Last season, he played for Marignane in the French U19 Championship, scoring one goal in 12 appearances. He has also played four games with Armenia’s U19 national team.
At UGA Ardziv, Arslanian will join several Armenian players, including former national team defender Gaël Andonian.
