Spertsyan confirms receiving ‘serious’ transfer offer from Southampton

Armenian national team and FC Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan has confirmed that he received a transfer offer from English club Southampton, which he will consider after meeting with Krasnodar club president Sergey Galitsky.

“It is too early to talk about a transfer to Southampton. But it is serious, there is an offer. I haven’t returned to Krasnodar yet. I will return soon and talk with the president. We will see what decision we will make together,” Spertsyan said.

Earlier reports indicated that Southampton’s offer is valued at €12 million.
