Speaking with Alpha News, political strategist and head of Dubravskiy Consulting, Pavel Dubravskiy, commented on Donald Trump’s stance regarding the Ukrainian conflict, noting that there have been no fundamental changes in his approach. According to the expert, despite active media discussion, Trump continues to adhere to his previous line.

“I don’t see Donald Trump’s position changing. He acknowledges that Ukraine is strong, that they’re doing well, and even references the 1991 borders. He also praises Zelensky. But what does he say immediately after that? He says the conflict is very difficult to resolve, and the US has essentially failed – that’s one. Two, NATO and European countries can buy weapons from the US. And three, he says that since he couldn’t resolve the conflict—which he inherited as part of the negative legacy of the Biden era—all he can do is sell weapons, thereby ostensibly supporting one side or the other. But in reality, Trump has publicly said he wishes both sides good luck,” Dubravskiy said.

According to the expert, Donald Trump is looking for an opportunity to get out of this conflict.

“We tried, we failed. If anyone needs weapons, assistance, or finances, please contact us, but only if you’re from the European Union or NATO countries. I wouldn’t say there’s been any shift in Trump’s thinking or statements. I think we’re seeing Donald Trump looking for a way out of this conflict, but he’s been doing so for at least two or three months,” Dubravskiy concluded.
