We want forces whose cooperation would change situation – Kocharyan

During a press conference, Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan responded to a question about whether he had considered leaving politics.

“Imagine if I hadn’t participated in the elections in 2021. We have an example—the elections of December 2018. Remember? Just look at the results—was our parliament better or worse? Were the votes sufficient for my participation? No, they weren’t sufficient. Would we like the creation of other forces whose cooperation would lead to a change in the situation? Yes, we would, and we express this very clearly and plainly. Now, as for me personally, my team will participate,” the president noted.
