‘Victory’ promises to be consistent in defending interests of Vagharshapat residents

Sevak Khachatryan, leader of the opposition bloc Victory, which took second place in the Vagharshapat City Council elections, published a post on his Facebook page. He addressed the city’s residents with words of gratitude for their trust.

“Dear Vagharshapat residents, on behalf of myself and the Victory bloc, I once again want to express my gratitude for the trust you have shown. Receiving such a large number of votes is both a responsibility and an inspiration. Yesterday, the electoral commission distributed the council mandates, and as representatives of the opposition faction Victory in the Vagharshapat Council, we promise to be consistent in defending the interests of the residents and in developing programs aimed at easing their concerns.

Our sole commitment within the council is to be accountable to you and to represent your interests in decision-making. We are getting to work,” Khachatryan said.
