Lord’s Prayer recited at Armenian Embassy in Moscow as sign of national unity

Armenians gathered at the embassy to condemn the unlawful and unconstitutional actions of the Armenian authorities, Fr. Gevorg Vardanyan, a clergyman of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, told journalists.

Fr. Kerovbe Barseghyan, in turn, highlighted the need to draw the attention of the international community to the lawlessness surrounding the Armenian Church.

“The Armenian authorities are attempting to interfere in the life of the Church, trample on its foundations, and bring the clergy to their knees—this must not be allowed,” he said.
