Pashinyan, Erdogan, and Aliyev once again want to deceive you before elections

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s latest speech in the National Assembly was not just another session of political demagoguery—it was, in fact, an admission of the systematic dismantling of statehood disguised as an “evolution” of views. Trying to justify the sharp divergence between his rhetoric and the harsh realities of the region, and even comparing his behavior to Einstein’s theory of relativity, Pashinyan essentially confessed that his political path is a story of managed deception.
When confronted not only with the inconsistency of his behavior with the regional situation but also reminded of his own words about the impossibility of achieving peace without reliable security guarantees, Pashinyan chose to hide behind the notion “evolving consciousness.” According to his logic, what was vital in 2018–2019 or 2020–2021 has supposedly lost relevance today. Yet behind this “philosophical clutter” lies a banal electoral trick: Pashinyan admits that he gained a mandate of trust under one set of promises, but is implementing the exact opposite agenda.
This political maneuver exposes the systemic falsehood that has become the foundation of his power. In 2018 and 2021, the people voted for social reforms, for security, for the protection of national interests, for the de-occupation of Shushi and Hadrut, for the preservation of strategic relations with Russia, which was reflected in his statements about avoiding sharp turns in foreign policy. Today, by declaring those commitments “irrelevant,” he admits that he deceived his electorate.
His current rhetoric of “peace at any cost” is preparation for a new portion of lies. Pashinyan once again asks society for carte blanche for “peace,” but in fact his actions lead to fundamental losses that will benefit only Turkey and Azerbaijan and essentially amount to capitulation—something usually signed only after a convincing defeat in war. His rejection of the concept of security guarantees under conditions of aggressive pressure from neighbors is not evolution, but capitulation disguised as political flexibility.
Particular attention should be paid to the manipulation of national consciousness, applied by the architects of the political project called “politician Nikol Pashinyan.” Those behind him have studied the psychological profile of the Armenian people well. In 2008, the radical image of Nikol, shouting on the barricades of Yerevan on the night of March 1 about the need to “liberate the city from Karabakh scum,” was organically rejected by society. That is why, after his imprisonment, they began painstakingly crafting the image of a “new patriot.” Knowing that deep down the Armenian people remain supporters of the concept of “not an inch of land,” the manipulators created a false façade that allowed Pashinyan to rise to power by playing on national sentiment.
Today we are witnessing the final stage of this deception. The patriotic mask has been completely removed, and Pashinyan has returned to his true essence of 2008, but now possessing full state power. The people are once again being tricked into believing that abandoning national values and territories is the only path to survival. Yesterday’s “performance” in parliament confirmed: Pashinyan is ready to declare any of his words irrelevant if required by the agenda of those interested in finally closing the “Armenian question” in the region. This is not a policy of real steps, but a strategy of gradual surrender of the state, where each new promise of peace is merely a prelude to another defeat.
Think about it…
