“The current anti-national authorities are the result of our past mistakes”: Levon Kocharyan

“In the past, alongside our effective work, we had shortcomings and mistakes that I deeply regret. I believe that today’s anti-national authorities are also a product of those mistakes.” This was stated at the final meeting with voters by Levon Kocharyan, a member of the Armenia bloc.

Addressing skeptical and alienated voters, Kocharyan stressed: “We did not fight hard enough against lies and deception, allowing falsehoods to take root in your minds and become ‘truth.’ But I ask you, do not let any mistakes from 20 or 30 years ago serve as your justification for electing today someone who surrendered Artsakh, someone who attacked the Church, someone who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people – Aliyev.”

Kocharyan promised that they would do everything possible to ensure that the legitimate anger directed at them would have no reason to persist in the future.
