Eduard Spertsyan passes medical exam, becomes Al-Ahli player

Eduard Spertsyan, midfielder of the Armenia national team, has completed his transfer from Krasnodar to the Saudi club Al-Ahli.

According to Ahmed Al-Lukan, a respected Arab journalist from the publication Al-Riyadiyah, the footballer underwent a medical examination in Portugal on Monday and signed a contract with the Saudi Arabian club.

The agreement between the parties is for 4 years and includes an option to extend for one more season. Spertsyan is expected to join his new team at the pre-season training camp, which Al-Ahli will hold in Austria.

In the 2025/2026 season, Spertsyan appeared in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists. His current contract with Krasnodar runs until June 30, 2029. According to information provided on the Transfermarkt portal, the footballer’s market value is €25 million.
