“You stole the votes of 60,000 citizens, you are thieves of mandates”: Agnessa Khamoyan to Civil Contract

For several days now, the Civil Contract faction has been trying to prove its democratic credentials to everyone, denying that the results of the National Assembly elections were falsified.

“In broad daylight, you stole the votes of 60,000 citizens. You are thieves of mandates, try to face the truth. You have as much to do with democracy as the red berets attacking the opposition have to do with the art of diplomacy,” said Agnessa Khamoyan, MP from the opposition Armenia faction.

Speaking about the proceedings surrounding property belonging to Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, the MP noted: “You are now encroaching on his property. The problem isn’t just the property, but also the removal of signs bearing the name ‘Ararat.’ Now that you’ve changed the sign, has it become legal?”
