A girl spat toward the entrance of St. James Monastery in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem in the presence of Israeli police officers.

Gegham Balyan, a member of the Save the ARQ Movement, shared the video on social media. After the incident, police officers approached the girl and her companion.

Similar incidents have occurred in the Armenian Quarter before. In August, police detained suspects for spitting toward the compound of the Armenian Patriarchate, but released them after questioning, pending a travel ban.
