I will be the next prime minister, and you will applaud: Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, said that the concept of a “real Armenia” actually means having no homeland.

“That’s why we will do everything to prevent this ideology from being advanced. We’ll do everything, don’t doubt that,” the politician emphasized.

Responding to a question about whether the party plans to limit itself to the role of parliamentary opposition rather than taking part in street action, Karapetyan noted that actions would depend on the situation.

“More than anyone, we’re in a hurry to see this force removed from power. But this requires a level-headed person. And such a person exists — it’s me. Let us calmly clear the country of them. I will be the next prime minister, and you will applaud,” the party leader concluded.
