Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan creates new prospects for East-West connections: Tokayev

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, stressed at the 7th CICA summit in Baku that they are seeing the results of far-sighted leadership in the South Caucasus, and welcomed the “emerging process of reconciliation” between Yerevan and Baku.

According to him, after decades of confrontation, the rapprochement of the two countries opens up new opportunities and creates new prospects for connections between East and West.
