Homes of 10 more Strong Armenia members searched: Andranik Gevorgyan

The homes of 10 more members of the Strong Armenia party were searched this morning, Andranik Gevorgyan, a member of parliament, told journalists in Stepanavan.

According to him, four members of the Stepanavan Council of Elders are currently in custody, and two more are under house arrest.

“The homes of 10 more party members were searched, and people were detained. They were taken to Yerevan. That’s their way of doing things. They (the authorities – ed.) will keep doing this over the next few days because they are afraid of losing. We, the members of Strong Armenia, have no intention of giving up, just like our leader. We will go all the way to have a strong Stepanavan,” Gevorgyan said.
