“Under which smart government was the oil refinery built?”: Karapetyan to Sisak Gabrielyan

During the debate, Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia faction, responded to statements by Sisak Gabrielyan, a Civil Contract MP, about the oil refinery in Surenavan, noting that the photo Gabrielyan had published did not show that refinery.

“I showed you an oil refinery built in the Republic of Armenia in our time, which has already started operating, and asked: do you know what this facility is, and when, under which smart government, was this refinery built?” Karapetyan said, adding that the photo showed oil storage tanks belonging to Azerbaijan’s SOCAR, not an oil refinery.

According to him, the refinery built in Surenavan is already in operation.
