“We have practically entered the TRIPP implementation phase”: Pashinyan

Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, said during the discussion of the draft 2027 state budget at the National Assembly that implementation of the TRIPP project has practically begun in Armenia. On its own initiative, the Government of the Republic of Armenia will launch the procedure for commissioning designs for the railway, highway and power transmission lines, so as not to lose time and to begin work on the project.

According to him, once the TRIPP development company is formed, the Armenian government will hand over to it all the work completed by that time.

“In practice, this means that the blockade of Armenia, which has lasted for more than 30 years, is being overcome in this way, because as a result of the TRIPP project’s implementation, Armenia will unconditionally and unequivocally be unblocked in all directions of railway communication, including the Armenia–Armenia routes,” he noted.
