Armenia has not yet begun any preparatory steps to leave the EAEU, Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, said at a briefing.
According to him, Armenia cannot be a member of both the EU and the EAEU at the same time, so it will have to make a choice in the future.
Asked whether these statements meant the government had in practice begun political preparations to leave the EAEU, and whether there was a clear roadmap for the process, Pashinyan replied: “At the moment, Armenia is not carrying out any preparatory process to leave the EAEU.”
