The Russian government is simplifying the procedure for doing business in Russia for companies and citizens from a number of friendly countries, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with his deputies.
“The signed order approves a list of 25 countries whose citizens and legal entities will be able to open accounts and make deposits in Russian banks in a simplified manner. Such an opportunity will be provided to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Brazil, India, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and some other countries as well.
To do this, foreign citizens will need to submit the necessary documents to a credit institution located in their country before entering Russia. Upon arrival, they will already be able to make payments at our banks.
Of course, it is much more convenient for everyone who visits Russia, including tourists and entrepreneurs.
We hope that the decision will help improve cooperation between the business communities of the partner states,” Mishustin said.
