First meeting of ethnocultural center ‘Artsakh’ held in Russian city of Krasnodar

The first meeting of the members of the ethnocultural center “Artsakh” was held in Krasnodar, Russia, on December 10.

The vast majority of those present were from Artsakh.

During the meeting, a declaration was signed on the establishment of the Artsakh Ethnocultural Center on the basis of the Regional Armenian National and Cultural Autonomy of the Krasnodar Krai in order to preserve the language, cultural, spiritual and historical values, customs and traditions of the Artsakh people.

The activities of the center were blessed by the Head of the Krasnodar and North Caucasus Diocese of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Movses Movsesian.

The goal of the meeting was to inform the Armenian community of the Krasnodar Krai about the establishment of the center and to familiarize them with its activities, as well as to attract like-minded people.
