ANCA interns advocate for release of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan

The ANCA Leo Sarkisian and Maral Melkonian Avetisyan interns hit Capitol Hill to advocate for the release of Armenian prisoners illegally detained by the genocidal regime in Azerbaijan, the ANCA reports.

They spoke to members of Congress and went from office to office to advance legislation demanding the immediate release of Artsakh political leaders and all Armenian hostages. To cap off the day, they stood up against Azerbaijani government officials who were trying to push their lies on in Congress.
