Armenian para-armwrestlers won 17 medals and set a world record in Budapest

The 28th European Para-Armwrestling Championship was held in Budapest, Hungary, from May 8 to 20, with 34 countries participating, according to sportaran. com.
The Armenian team demonstrated one of its best results in history, winning 17 medals: 8 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze, placing third in the overall team standings.
The highlight of the tournament was a unique match between representatives of Armenia and Moldova.
Armenian athlete Volodya Bazeyan and Moldovan Nikolai Tikaluk fought the longest match in armwrestling history.
The left arm fight in the 65 kg (sitting) category lasted about 45-46 minutes, which surpassed the previous world record (26 minutes).
