‘I look at the world in Armenian’: Minsk hosts event to honor William Saroyan

An event to honor the outstanding Armenian-American writer and playwright William Saroyan will be held in Minsk, Belarus, on October 9.

The speakers will tell about interesting facts from the writer’s life, after which the movie My Heart’s in the Highlands based on Saroyan’s play of the same name will be shown.

The organizers of the evening invite everyone to “look at the world in Armenian”, following Saroyan’s words: “I don’t write in Armenian, but I look at the world in Armenian”.
