During hearings at the Anti-Corruption Court in the case concerning the alleged overthrow of the constitutional order, Sargis Petrosyan, the judge, prohibited discussion of the threats made by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister, against Robert Kocharyan, Second President of the Republic of Armenia, calling them political statements.
In response, Aram Orbelyan, the lawyer, demanded that political statements made in 2008 also not be discussed.
Addressing the court, Kocharyan added: “If I had said I would finish off the prime minister, I would surely have been arrested the very next day, right?”
