According to Ermenihaber, the basement of the house built about 150 years ago by an Armenian family in Konya, Turkiye has been serving as a cafe for 25 years.
Sezai Dogan, a distinguished literature teacher, said that he opened the café with the encouragement of his students, and the building has been preserved for years by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye.
“Recently, I have retired from the high school in Konya. I have opened the café on advice of graduates of that school. I love this place, this atmosphere. Visitors say it looks like a museum,” Dogan said.
