Union of Armenians of Russia celebrates Ghapama Day

The student community of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University with the Youth Center of the Union of Armenians of Russia celebrated the Ghapama Day, reports the telegram channel of the union.

Students played interactive games, during which they had to guess the names of famous Armenians, architectural structures, and so on.

The event did not go without national songs and dances. The participants shared recipes for the preparation of the national Armenian dish, ghapama.

Ghapama is an Armenian stuffed pumpkin dish. In national traditions, the dish is served to the table for weddings and other holidays as a symbol of abundance.
