“We are fighting embezzlement”: Mesrop Manukyan

The opposition is calling for citizens not to be robbed and for an end to plunder, said Mesrop Manukyan, a lawmaker from the Armenia faction, from the National Assembly rostrum.

“We are fighting against robbery,” he said.

The lawmaker criticized the government’s decision to provide state funds to a private company, questioning its financial feasibility.

“Have you done a financial calculation, a simple calculation?” Manukyan said in bewilderment.
