Armenian community of Novorossiysk hosts event honoring Silva Kaputikyan

The Armenian youth organization from the Russian city of Novorossiysk hosted an event honoring Armenian poet Silva Kaputikyan.

The event was held on the territory of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. As the new academic year approaches, the event serves as a message to our young generation to start studying their native language or to continue if they have already started.

The attendees were told about the life of the poet, read poems, and gave a short performance portraying Silva Kaputikyan and her husband, Hovhannes Shiraz, confessing their love for each other.
