EU ambassador visits Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission

On April 28, representatives of EU member state embassies, led by EU Delegation Head Vasilis Maragos, visited the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

The diplomats visited the CEC on their own initiative. The CEC Chair welcomed the guests and briefed them on the preparations underway by the electoral bodies ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Representatives of diplomatic and consular missions accredited in the Republic of Armenia may, upon invitation, observe the electoral process in the capacity of visitors. The guests were provided with handbooks detailing their rights and responsibilities.
