Iran is demanding compensation from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan for their role in the US-Israeli operation, according to a letter from the Islamic Republic’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, obtained by RIA Novosti.

The document is addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and to the President of the UN Security Council, a position currently held by Bahrain this month.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan […] must provide full reparations to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including compensation for all material and moral damages suffered as a result of their internationally wrongful acts,” the letter reads.

Iravani explained that these states not only provided their territory for use in acts of aggression against Iran, but in some cases directly participated in “unlawful armed attacks targeting civilian infrastructure” of the Islamic Republic.

“The conduct of these states in allowing aggressors to use their territories against the Islamic Republic of Iran constitutes an act of aggression,” the diplomat added.

The Gulf states and Jordan have officially denied any involvement in the US-Israeli operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
