Over 1.1 thousand Armenian heavy trucks waiting to pass through Verkhny Lars checkpoint

About 1.1 thousand Armenian trucks are waiting to pass through the Verkhny Lars checkpoint from the Russian side, the Road Traffic Organization Center of North Ossetia reports.

The total number of vehicles reportedly reaches 4.035; 1.163 of them are Armenian.

In the green zone, near the Verkhny Lars checkpoint, about 300 heavy trucks from different countries stand idle.

The Georgian Military Highway is the only land route that currently connects Armenia with Russia.
